Rules and Requirements

Fundamentals:
1) There is no crying in baseball
2) There must be at least three players on each team for a game to be official.
3) Game delays/skirmishes will immediately result in a fine or suspension.
4) A home-run shall be defined as any ball that is hit over a designated fence.
5) Leading off of bases is allowed, however, there is no stealing.
6) Game-balls which are used must have authenticated brands. Games which are played with "Dollar Store" balls will be void.
7) Bases are to be determined prior to the start of each game.
8) Catchers must make worthy attempts to catch fly balls, even though they are on the opposing team.
9) If there is a dispute over strikes and balls, the catcher's decision is absolute. If the catcher is unsure, there is a problem.
10) All bats must be wooden.
11) An official game must exceed five innings.
Game Misconduct:
Throwing any of the following will result in a $1.00 fine:
-base
-backyard equipment
-a bucket of balls
-something really heavy
The following will result in a $1.50 fine:
-throwing a bat
-throwing equipment at people ($1.50 per piece of equipment)
Physical altercations between players will result in a suspension and an automatic $2.00 fine. These include:
-charging the mound
-punching, kicking, wrestling, etc.
-tackling
